    Celebration of Archbishop Lawrence Saldanha's 60th Ordination Anniversary

    60 year pin to Mary Flaherty

    CWL member, Mary Flaherty, received her 60 year recognition pin, from Sandra Bassett, President, along with Philomena Menezes and Nenita MacKenzie. With Mary, are her two daughters, Mary Jo and Theresa.

    Congratulations to Mary on this important milestone and a heartfelt thank you for your on-going support of the Catholic Women's League!

    An Evening at the Seminary

    Have you ever thought about becoming a priest? Spending an evening at the seminary offers discerners a glimpse into the place where priestly formation begins.

    We have been very blessed to receive from the Holy Land the relics of two Saints which have been added to our reliquary cabinet along with our relic of Padre Pio in the front of the church.

    St. Mariam Baouardy
    was a Discalced Carmelite nun of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church. Born to Greek Catholic parents from Syria and Lebanon, she was known for her service to the poor. In addition, she became a Christian mystic who suffered the stigmata.

    She was canonized in 2015 by Pope Francis.

    St. Marie Alphonsine
    Marie-Alphonsine Danil Ghattas was a Palestinian Christian nun who founded the Congregation of the Rosary Sisters of Jerusalem, the first Palestinian congregation.

    She was canonized in 2015 by Pope Francis.

    Our Lady of Fatima Visitation

    The 2020 sign-up sheet for Our Lady of Fatima’s visitation for a week in your home is now available in the binder at the back of the church.

    Instruction prayer on her arrival and departure is included in the prayer bag. Let us pray to Our Blessed Mother for protection, guidance, peace in our family and the whole world.

    You will receive and return her on Saturday at the 5pm mass.

    This contest supports and encourages an awareness and positive attitude towards a broad range of pro-life issues – from stages of conceptions, through childhood, adolescence, adulthood and senior years, to the new stage after death.

    3. Jean McCann Youth Service Award
    This Youth award recognizes and affirms the role played in our Parishes by our confirmed Catholic youth through service to others
