    News and Announcements

    Thank You!

Thanks to the Catholic Woman's League, The Knights of Columbus and the Prayer group for purchasing our 3 new fridges in the hall. Thanks to Antonio, our custodian, who painted and repaired the kitchen to accommodate the new fridges. God Bless

    From the Pastor's Desk

As we prepare for the Advent season please consider taking a leaf from the Giving Tree which has a item written on it for Rosalie Hall. What an excellent way to help a young new born as we await the birth of Christ.

Once again, thanks to the Liturgical committee who will set up the Angel tree beginning the first Sunday of Lent. You can write the name of a loved one living or deceased on a card and place it on the Christmas tree by Our Lady.

    God Bless
    Fr. Xavier

    CHRISTMAS POINSETTIAS

It's time to order your Christmas Poinsettias again, to decorate your home, give to your friends and support the Pro-Life movement. There are four sizes to choose from, in colours of red, white and pink.

Either fill in your request on the form in the vestibule, or call Mary at 416-751-9909. Many thanks for your support.

Flowers will be delivered to the church on Sunday, November 19.

    Essay and Poetry Contest

The Precious Blood Council of the Catholic Women's League of Canada is promoting the Mary Dobell Pro-Life Essay and Poetry Contest.

This contest is open to students from Grades 7, 8 & 9 at the Intermediate level and Grades 10, 11 & 12 at the Senior level.

Submissions must reflect the teachings of the Catholic Church concerning the sanctity of life and the value of all human life from conception to death. Contestants can reflect on various topics eg: following in the footsteps of Christ or how works of charity preserve human dignity, or how to exemplify the Christian ideal in home and family, or consider that caring for the environment is also a right for life and is our responsibility to care for the developing world.

For further details on contest guidelines, number of words, etc. Please call Nenita MacKenzie at 416-669-9211 or send your email to nenitamackenzie@yahoo.ca or Liz Garcia at 416-615-2534.

    The Giving Tree

In support of Rosalie Hall this Christmas, the Catholic Women's League (CWL), will have a Giving Tree set up at the entrance of the church. The CWL encourages all parishioners to take a leaf from the tree with gift suggestions written on it. Please bring the leaf back along with a new and unwrap gift for the needs of young and single parents and their newborn children. Gifts can be dropped off by the altar or the Angel Tree.

The Giving Tree will be at the entrance of the church from November 4 to December 17. Thank you for all your support.

    All Souls

Beginning November 2 until November 30 we pray for our deceased loved ones and all souls in purgatory. Kindly write the names of your deceased loved ones on the All Souls Envelopes found in your donation envelope package. More special envelopes will be beside the All Souls Box at the front of the church. Please place your envelope in the box provided or in the collection basket. During the month of November at all masses we will generally remember all the intentions placed in the box.
